Yes, it's true, however, it is just as much true that you are originating from a social world of human beings, involving your mother and your whole genetic make-up coming from your family and ancestors. So as an individual, as interconnected body and mind, you are separated from others, but still in neat connection with them. "No man is an island". Your neat connection to your microbiome, don't mention it. But it's there.
